The MiNDFOOD team share their finest bucket-list suggestions for holidays a person can have in Iceland, Wa, USA, the Maldives plus much more.

Seeing America's oldest park
Gill Canning, Chief Sub-Editor
‘I've always hankered to go to Massachussets. Boston is surface of my list when i think its 400-year history means there'd be lots of architectural gems to explore and admire, in addition to America's oldest park – Boston Common. I'd also result in the short trip as much as visit Salem, in which the infamous witch trials of 1692 took place. And since reading the novels of Elin Hilderbrand, I've been keen to simply accept ferry from Hyannis over to the region of Nantucket. The vibe there seems great and also the colonial-era houses pique my interest. It appears as though an attractive getaway spot.’

Local and beyond
Michael McHugh, Editor in Chief
‘NEW ZEALAND
I really like the drive-thru the Nevis along with a swim along with a picnic under the bridge in summer, as well as the poplar trees turning gold in Autumn in Central Otago.
AUSTRALIA
Sitting watching the sun's rays set at Dampier Peninsula in Wa.
INTERNATIONAL
Having time to stroll around the art galleries in Paris, stopping into cafes on the way. I've also never visited Croatia and like the thought of sailing around the coast. ‘

Exploring the very best outdoors
Kathryn Chung, MiNDFOOD Staff Writer / STYLE Concierge Editor
‘As someone who enjoys the outdoors, I’ve long dreamt of exploring the otherworldly landscapes of Iceland. From the many mystical waterfalls and ice caves, to vast black sand beaches and volcanic rock formations, a car trip around this stunning country reaches the very best my bucket-list.’

So many…
Donna Duggan, MiNDFOOD Managing Editor
‘The surface of the list is Sicily, among the last parts of Italy I’ve yet to understand more about.
A cruise across the Kimberley coast. I’ve yet to go to Wa which region looks spectacular.
Rajasthan remains on my small bucket-list for more than Thirty years – I really like everything about Indian culture, food, architecture, and that i will visit Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur … one day.
My son is enthusiastic about Kenya. It’s on the list to consider him on safari to Masai Mara.’

Experience the Northern Lights
Megan Bedford, MiNDFOOD Beauty Editor
‘Sweden is in my bucket-list after i usually have loved winter travel using the adventure, snow activities and rugging up warm. Going dog sledding and also the opportunity to begin to see the majestic northern lights as well as being immersed within the countries’ culture and design have meant this destination is surely a ‘must-do’ for me. ‘

Completely switch off
Lillian McHugh, Integration Director
‘I imagine switching off, and escaping towards the endless horizons from the Maldives. Your way to get to somewhere remote excites me. Swimming inside the warm ocean, spending your day using the sun on my small face (with SPF 50+ obviously) and salt on my skin sounds the heaven.’

Food and powder in Japan
Janine Bourke, Account Director
‘Japan : The lake during the ski season.
Why? Powder, and lots of it, so I’m told.
Aside in the amazing ski conditions and facilities that the super organised and efficiently well run Japanese ski resort would offer, there are other reasons.
The culture, a history, the design and style, the manners, the conventional architecture are alluring. But surely the meals will be the top of the list.’

Back to the roots
Ashley Wallace, STYLE Editor
‘My cousin and I usually have took it to Scotland together, to return to our Wallace roots! Actually, I’m craving a car trip through the UK – watching plenty of Location, Location, Location is going to do that for you personally. But my newest overseas trip will be (somewhat) closer to home in america, and can include a cruise across the California coast. I’ve never done the drive from LA as much as Santa Barbara so that’s something I’m hoping we obtain to complete.’
